Before becoming a mum of two, I thought I already knew which baby items made life easier. Spoiler: I was wrong.
Once a toddler and a baby entered the chat together, my “essentials” list changed fast.
Now I have a handful of products I rely on every single day — not sponsored, just emotionally attached 😂
Here are the top 5 items I truly couldn’t manage without:
1. Pampers Sensitive Wipes
My holy grail wipes.
They don’t dry out, they’re gentle, and best of all — they come out ONE at a time.
No more pulling out half the pack in a panic.
With sensitive skin babies and a toddler, these have never caused irritation and just… work.

2. Bedtime Products
Our calming night routine makes a world of difference.
A warm bath, gentle scents, soft lotion — the girls sleep better and settle quicker.
On nights we skip it? Absolutely no one sleeps 😂

Johnson’s is our go to!
3. Baby Carrier
The closest thing to having a second set of arms.
When one child needs holding and the other needs attention, the carrier gives me my hands back.
Cooking, tidying, uploading a uni assignment — all suddenly possible.
I use the dream baby journey

4. Travel Cot / Playpen
The safest little space when I need 60–90 seconds of peace.
Whether I’m making lunch, putting washing on, or just need to wee without a toddler bursting in — baby goes in the playpen and everyone survives.
I use the NUNA sena aire

5. Baby Monitor with Two Cameras
Two kids, two rooms, one nervous mum.
Being able to watch both girls at once brings so much peace of mind — especially at bedtime and naps.
No more tiptoeing in like a ninja and accidentally waking someone up.
I use a blemil one I found on Amazon!

Why These Products Matter
When you’re a study-work-mum, the small things save the big days.
Anything that gives time back, lowers stress, or prevents a meltdown (mine or theirs) becomes priceless.
Not sponsored.
Not fancy.
Just real-life lifesavers.
